Why does TrueGov exist.
Party Politics facilitates corruption and collusion without recourse to the public that elected them.
Career politicians are influenced by external entities, Powerful institutions that do not represent you. They represent themselves.
In today’s Party Politics the views of the public are not a priority as the only time for recourse is a General Election.
Historically, during a General Election, Party politics confines the electorate to a simple choices, Red or Blue. Left or Right. Boris, Corbyn, Farage.
But when you do this you are voting for a group of people that you have not vetted individually. They are elected into power by default of their affiliation. These people end up being assign to Ministerial positions and so wield incredible power over our lives.
TrueGov's objective is to end this corruptible system that attracts career politicians that do not represent you.
How does TrueGov solve the problem of Party Politics.
TrueGov candidates must adhere to certain specific rules....
1 They cannot be a member of a political party.
2 They are required to provide their views on a number of subjects which are current and important to the public up front before an election takes place.
3. They must provide video evidence of their intention to accept the public choice of Prime Minister. This has to be performed word for word and in a binding contract between themselves and the people.
How does TrueGov become a functioning government.
All elected independent MP's can form a government if there is a majority. The PM is agreed by these elected MP's on the basis of the public vote that takes place on the TrueGov application.
True representation. From then on each MP is no longer controlled by it's party. They can express their views without political recourse. Government becomes a committee.
How does TrueGov make sure that people who vote are really from the UK.
Validated TrueGov members have their votes counted above anyone else. These are people that have validated their residency in the UK in some way. Members can request a validation code to be sent to their residence. This code when matched to the TrueGov member will validate that member.
How can we be sure that the application has not been compromised by external entities, hackers, bad actors.
When you Sign Up to TrueGov you are provided with a Private Key. This is your ID within the system. After a vote has been completed a snapshot of the final results are made available from the site. With this data set, any member can verify that their vote is correct without any identification of the individual. It will also corroborate the totals. In this way, if the system is compromised then it is obvious to everyone.
How can we be sure no data is ever shared with external entities.
In short there is nothing to share. TrueGov is simple but at the same time sophisticated. All emails are stored using SHA encryption. The same technology that is used in the Bitcoin protocol. Any validation Addresses are also encrypted and deleted once validation has taken place. Private encryption keys are stored externally from the application and its data making data theft pointless.
How does TrueGov deal with subverted groups.
Majority is the key. The majority will not change unless there is good reason. When others attempt to subvert they cannot effect the majority vote.
TrueGov can only work when a majority takes part. Only then can the vote be protected from bad actors. The Summary page keeps track of this for each constituency.
